The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences will partner with Canada Blooms to present the “Juno Rocks” Gardens. 4 Gardens Inspired byJUNO Award Nominees and Winners(Keshia Chanté, Jann Arden, Feist, Sarah Slean & Royal Wood) reflecting each artist’s particular style and genre. The JUNO Awards Celebrate their 41st Anniversary from Ottawa, March 26 to April 1st, 2012 culminating with the live CTV Broadcast on Sunday, April 1st from the Scotiabank Place.
I love Fashion. My grandfather was a very successful tailor in both Europe and Canada & my mother til this day still loves to sew. I remember growing up idolizing my mother’s over the top style. She was like a 70′s glamour girl with a little edge like Sharon Stone in Casino or Michele Phifer in Scarface; furs, crazy jewellery, sheers. I think that’s why I love Donatella Versace so much. Needless to say I love fashion, self expression, intricate embellishments and the world of fantasy. It was gracious of Fashion Television (basically Canada’s Fashion Bible!) to make me apart of their ’Fashion Icons Celebrity Style’ list! I respect their brand so much & I am excited!
I do hope my young followers know that “style” is not about having tons of money to buy expensive clothes or have designer pieces, it’s about having confidence & using clothing as an expression which doesn’t include the digits on a price tag, it’s about what makes YOU comfortable & confident!

XBox through an event called “Game With Fame” where my fans got to meet & play Dance Central 2 with me! It was so much fun! I’m in LOVE with Dance Central 2 on the XBOX 360! The game is now a family favorite & I’m totally hooked! I loved getting to dance with fans & connect online with fans across the world! Check out highlights from the event below!
I am so thrilled to find out that ET Canada’s New Year’s Eve at Niagara Falls was Canada’s #1 Year End Countdown show, reaching 4.8 million people!! It was a dream come true to be apart of the show, along with Simple Plan, Our Lady Peace & the Sheepdogs! Performing for a crowd of 70,000 people & working with the incredible Global/ET Canada crew, I couldn’t think of a better way to set the tone for 2012!! I performed Table Dancer off my new album ‘Night & Day’ and throwbacks Bad Boy, 2U & Been Gone!! My band & dancers did fantastic & the weather was just perfect! The best part was the Countdown on stage! We all popped champagne & checked out the fireworks. Good times!!
Like what my ‘girl army’ and I are wearing? We needed something to keep us warm but would allow us to dance full out, get the gear at Nike.com!
